We have talked about names a lot and we are really, really struggling

The couple have yet to reveal the name of their newborn and have been ‘struggling’ to come up with a list according to Alan.

The actor – who plays Corrie’s Tyrone Dobbs – recently told a UK newspaper: ‘We have talked about names a lot and we are really, really struggling.

‘There's nothing we've liked, we haven't even got a list yet. It's such a big thing - they have it for the rest of their life and you want to get it right.’

Lucy-Jo – who played Katy Harris in the soap - recently revealed that her husband burst into tears when they found out the sex of the baby and she had expected him to cry again when their baby girl was born.

She said: 'I screamed when we found out the baby was a girl, but Al cried.

She added: 'He'll definitely cry at the birth. It's like he's tapped into an emotion he didn't have before. He sits next to me and puts his head on my bump.'

Lucy Jo and Alan started dating in 2005 after working together on soap Coronation Street and they married in 2009.
