The WAG, 27, and her partner Aljaz Skorjanec will be performing the Samba and the American Smooth tonight.
Revealing her fears about the Samba, Abbey said: “I really started to panic when I realised that no mater what I do, it’s going to look awful. I can’t believe we’ve got this dance in the semi-final. Everyone else is so good. I can’t believe it.
“There’s so many things to think about – the bounce, straight legs, the hips then the weird timing. I’m panicking and I just want to be able to do it. I’m absolutely petrified of having this dance.”
But Abbey said that she is much more comfortable about performing the American Smooth. She said: “I feel more comfortable doing swooshy dances. I definitely prefer ballroom dances.”
Despite being nervous about her performance, Abbey said that she loves being in the competition and will be sad to see it come to an end.
She said: “It’s a fabulous experience so it is sad that it’ll come to an end. It’s completely taken over my life, it means so much to me that I’ve got a new friend in Aljaz.
“I’ve loved every second and laugh. It’s not a case of winning, I just don’t want it to end.”
Telling her followers just how much she is enjoying the competition, Abbey tweeted: “I just don’t want my @bccstrictly experience to end ! Had the best time ever I can’t even begin to tell you all wish it could last forever x.”
The bookies aren’t behind Abbey to win the competition, instead favouring her rival BBC journalist Susanna Reid.
