When we look at celebrity families, we forget that underneath it all they are like us too – they will also have to face tantrums from toddlers, may have to face the chaotic school run and deal with sudden and severe hormone changes that leave you weepy when you run out of bread. And just because they live what looks like a very glamourous life, it doesn’t mean they are exempt from the havoc pregnancy can play on our bodies.

And thankfully, some stars do step forward to discuss these issues in the spotlight. Kim Kardashian was very open about the problems she encountered during her pregnancies with daughter North, and again with her son, Saint.

Now, British TV personality, Abbey Crouch has joined the ranks.

Abbey and husband Peter Crouch have made family life with their two beautiful daughters look like plain sailing.

But the Britian’s Next Top Model judge opened up about the struggles she endured during her pregnancies with 5-year-old Sophia Ruby and 1-year-old Liberty Rose.

Abbey, 30, confessed that the symptoms were so severe that it meant she “hated being pregnant”.

Talking to Your Fitness, she said that carrying her littles ones left her feeling “sick for nine months, exhausted [with] awful awful headaches.”

However, the model and presenter admitted that in order to relieve her symptoms she would often take up gentle exercise.

She continued: “My back was so sore but I found yoga helped.”

The svelte star, who has been married to footballer Peter Crouch for five years, recently shared a throwback snap of herself as a toddler, noting the striking and unmissable similarities between her and youngest daughter, Liberty.
