Our ‘pre-tanning’ tips are as follows:

• Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate – rough dry skin can lead to a patchy tan

• Don’t bathe or shower just before tanning as hot water opens pores causing uneven results

• Moisturise all dry areas – elbows, knees, and feet – but only use an oil-free moisturiser

• Remove makeup and deodorant

Step 1: The night before you want to contour, apply the St. Moriz Medium Mousse all over for a gorgeous base colour. Starting from the feet upwards to avoid crease marks from bending over, apply a 5p piece amount of tan to the St. Moriz Mitt and work in circular motions taking your time. Leave to develop for 4-6 hours and then wash off in the shower.

Step 2: Focussing on the areas that would generate a shadow, apply the St. Moriz Dark Mousse. This should be applied between and beneath the breasts, beneath the collar bone and lightly above the collar bone. The St. Moriz Dark Mousse has a guide colour that will show up instantly but will also develop over 4-6 hours to leave a darker colour once showered off.

Step 3: Take your St. Moriz Instant Shimmer Tan and apply to areas that would naturally catch the light. We have applied to the centre of the colour bones and the breasts. The Shimmer Tan leaves a subtle sparkle and sheen to the skin, which will catch the light beautifully.

Step 4: Now apply St Moriz Bronzing Powder - using the darker colour to accentuate where you have contoured, and the golden glow lighter colour to highlight. And there you have it! A fuller looking bust instantly!

St. Moriz tanning products start from just £4.99 and are available from all major supermarkets, Boots and pharmacies nationwide. This tutorial was put together by make up artist Claire Nicole.
