What is HD Brow Sculpt treatment?

HD Brow Sculpting is treatment by HD Brows registered, which includes the lamination process and a 360 degree approach to brow grooming, and was developed from the existing HD (High Definition) Brow treatment. A HD Brow treatment involves measuring, tinting, and waxing or threading, as well as finishing off the effect with make-up.

How long does HD brow sculpt last?

The treatment can last up to six months with the correct aftercare.

HD Brow sculpt aftercare

Looking after your new brows is actually pretty straight forward. Your therapist will tell you to avoid getting the area wet, or excessive rubbing, for 24 hours after the treatment, and avoid direct contact with sunlight, and saunas, steam rooms and swimming pools, for 48 hours.

It’s also best to avoid AHA’s and BHA’s, as well facial tanner, for three days before and after treatment.

What is brow lamination?

Brow lamination has increased in popularity in the last few years as a unique and effective treatment for those with sparse or fine eyebrows. During the two step treatment, your therapist will brush your eyebrow hairs upwards before coating them in a chemical solution known as eyebrow perm. The first step breaks down the hair’s natural bonds so they can be manipulated into the desired shape (sort of like a hair relaxer), and the second step rebuilds these bonds so they stay put.

Loads of celebs including Molly-Mae Hague, Laura Whitmore and Dua Lipa are huge fans of brow lamination and have shared their results on the ol' Gram

But if you can't get to a salon or you frankly CBA with all the faff (we feel you) the next best thing is hard-working brow gel. It gives you the same brushed-up look without the semi-permanent results.

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Brows

Fancy feeling boujee? This product coats, shades and shapes each hair for that Insta worthy definition. It's also available in four different shades which is perfect if you want to darken your natural brow colour.

What's more, it only takes a few strokes to see Insta-worthy results.

There are a few different ways on how to use a brow gel and it really does depend on the results you're after. Some prefer to use a brow gel as the initial step in their brow routine, so they can then simply follow with an eyebrow pencil to fill in any gaps. This is great for anyone who wants their brows to look seriously up-brushed.

Others prefer to pencil their brows and then use a brow gel as a final step to set them.

You can also use a brow gel on its own, if you're looking for a more natural look or you're already blessed with thick brows.

To apply, simply comb through the gel your eyebrow hairs in the direction you want them to stay. Adding a wiggle motion to the stroke can ensure that your eyebrows are fully coated with the product.
