If you haven’t guessed by now, we love Disney here at Closer, especially those beautiful princesses.

And we started to wonder if we could release our inner princess without looking like we’re dressed for a Christmas panto.

So we got in touch with makeup artist Deirdre Morgan, who has created some beautiful everyday makeup looks based on all your favourite Disney Princesses!

Deirdre says a staple for any princess look is “wispy lashes that are thicker on the outer corner, black eyeliner and white eyeliner for the lower lash line to widen the eye, which will make your eyes more cartoon like.”

But of course, each princess has their own personality and style, so Deirdre has come up with individual looks for each influential female.

Take a look at Deirdre Morgan’s beautiful everyday Disney Princess makeup:

Cinderella

To create this look, Deirdre says:

“Use a cream coloured eyeshadow on the lid and peach/tan transition colour in the crease blended out evenly, extending it past the crease to make the eye appear bigger.

“Simple thin black eyeliner along the lash line paired with wispy lashes that get longer towards the outer corner to create a bigger eye shape.

“The brows don’t have a defined shape so you can just fill them in - but don’t over fill them!

“Use a white eyeliner in your lower waterline, pink blush, and pink lipstick to finish off the look.

“And if you want to, you can contour and highlight to make your face appear more like the shape of Cinderella’s.”

Ariel from The Little Mermaid

To create this look, Deirdre says:

“For your eyes, use a cream colour eyeshadow on your lid, and a brown colour for your crease, blending out to make the eyes appear bigger. And a simple black eyeliner starting thin at the inner corner and getting a little thicker towards the outer corner, adds that extra touch.

“To help with Ariel’s large almond shaped eyes use wispy lashes that get longer towards the outer corner and white eyeliner in the lower waterline.

“Brows are not over filled or defined, so an eyeshadow or brow pencil will help with that look.

“Add a rose pink blush, and either red lipstick or the colour of a natural berry toned lip to complete the look.”

Anna from Frozen

To create this look, Deirdre says:

“For your brows using a combination of a pomade and brow pencil paired with a barely there arch to get her full brow look. You can also use the pomade and a defined brush or a brow pencil to add her freckles to the face.

“For the eyes use a cream coloured eyeshadow on the lid with two tones of brown in the crease blended out towards the outer corner. Use black eyeliner and wispy lashes that get thicker to the outer corner and white eyeliner on the lower waterline.

“A rose blush with a hint of coral kept mainly on the apples of the cheeks make the face more rounded and give Anna’s cold flush. A rosy pink lipstick that has a gloss to it finishes the look.”

Aurora from Sleeping Beauty

To create this look, Deirdre says:

“Use a brow pomade to get Aurora’s defined brows with a severe arch and tail.

“A cream coloured eyeshadow on the lid and a brown colour on the crease blended out towards the outer corner, will give Aurora’s large almond shaped eyes.

“Eyeliner can be winged out at a 45 degree angle to help give the shape of Aurora’s eye and use wispy lashes and white eyeliner on the lower waterline to finish the eye look.

“Get Aurora’s defined cheek bones through contouring and highlighting and use a little rose pink blush on the apples of the cheeks (mainly on the cheek bones) will help to get Auroras face shape.

“The lips are a mixture of a red lip liner, a rose lipstick and a gloss on top give her signature lip colour that is red as a rose.”

Snow White

To create this look, Deirdre says:

“Getting Snow White’s dark brows using a black eye shadow will give a soft brow look, as they are not defined and are more semi circular - so don’t define your brows too harshly.

“On the eyelid use a cream coloured eyeshadow with a brown colour for the crease blended evenly to round out the eyes.

“Use a thick black eyeliner evenly along the lashline, and create thick wispy lashes, adding white eyeliner on the lower waterline to finish the round eye look.

“Use a coral pink blush, keeping it on the apples of the cheeks, to round out the face.

“For the lips to finish the look, use a red lip liner, a red lipstick, and a red gloss on top to get that rose red finish.”

Merida from Brave

To create this look, Deirdre says:

“Merida has very plain makeup making it a great for an everyday look!

“Her brows have a large head and small tail, so this can be filled with either a pomade or brow pencil.

“Using a pinky-cream eyeshadow on the lid and a peachy-brown transition colour in the crease, you can evenly blend to widen the eyes.

“You can use fake eyelashes for this look if you want, but a nice wispy lash is great with a thin line of black liner on the top lid, and white eyeliner on the bottom lash line to finish off the wide eyed look.

“Use a pink blush with a hint of coral to get her flushed look. For the lips a peachy pink lipstick and liner will give you that extra finish too.”

Belle from Beauty and the Beast

To create this look, Deirdre says:

“Belle has a beautiful natural makeup look. For the brows, fill them in with a pomade or brow pencil.

“Use a cream coloured eyeshadow on the lid and a mixture of light brown in the creases blended towards the outer corner to create her big almond eyes.

“Line the upper lash line in black, bringing it all the way to the outer corner. Then take a grey or diffused black eyeshadow to line the lower lash line, keeping it from the outer corner and a quarter to half of the lower lash line. In other words, don’t line your whole lower lash line! And then connect your top and bottom liner at the outer corner.

“Use wispy lashes that get thicker at the outer corner to finish off the almond eye effect and line your lower waterline in white.

“On the cheeks use a pink blush to give a natural flush to the face and contour the face keeping the cheek contour pretty close to the cheek bone, and contouring the jawline and chin to get Belle’s face shape.

“Finish off the look with a mixture of natural pink and peach shades on the lips to get her beautiful lip colour.”
