With a range of these facial cleansing brushes on the market, one beauty blogger gives us her low down on these skincare saviours.

Reviewing the Magnitone brush, the blogger recommends this particular product for making dull skin look radiant and healthy once more.

And whilst we can endorse this is a fanastic device for getting skin squeaky clean and getting it to look bursting with life (we’ve got the blue version), it’s worth noting that you should not overuse this beauty tool.

As with any exfoliation - over-doing it can cause damage to the skin, drying it out and causing it to produce excess oil, which could then lead to breakouts.

We’ve found that three or four times a week is plenty in order to deep cleanse the skin, keep it healthy, without drying it out.

Grab some of your favourite cleanser - we like a gentle foaming one like this Nivea one - and use the brush on wet skin before toning and moisturising.

It’s worth noting some of the other facial brushes on the market - the original, the Clarisonic - is still a firm favourite albeit a little pricier than other models.

No7 have a fantastically economical version in their Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush, which is just £24.95, and Magnitone comes in in between these two price points at £59.99.
