There's one hair-style we'd all love to know how to achieve

Whether you've got naturally curly or straight hair, or chosen a short or a longer style, thick, voluminous tresses are the ultimate glamorous status symbol.

Sadly, most of us haven't been blessed with naturally thick hair and so there are a few tips and tricks the trade swears by to cheat the look. And short of forking out thousands on volumising extensions or damaging back-combing, there are ways to style your hair fresh out the shower that can give rapunzel-esque proportions.

Julien Farel, Celebrity hair guru who has worked his magic on the likes Olivia Palermo, Katie Holmes and Kate Moss and specialises in 'anti-aging' haircare, stresses the importance of beginning with a blank canvas to achieve Kim’s killer style.

“To achieve perfectly placed locks, you must start off with a silky, shiny and healthy palette,” he said.

He recommends using theVitamin Restore from his range, which clarifies, restores and renews hair by infusing Hyaluronic Acid, Resveratrol and Bioflavonoids into tresses. It instantly injects volume and shine, getting your hair off to the best start.

Once washed, Julien recommends running a lightweight styling balm - Try Trevor Sorbie Straight Smoothing Balm, through your hair, and then brush it through gently with a large, broad bristle brush. We love The Wet Brush, – the white shade is especially Wimbledon-esque!

And for Kim’s trademark locks, it’s all in the blowdry. Julien says “Blowdry the hair in 1-2 inch sections, wrapping each one around large rollers to create volume”

Once your hair is completely in rollers, use some hair spray all over to help it set. Bouffe Fixing Spray,, is great for keeping hair in place without that crisp texture. Leave your hair for 5 or so minutes to set.

Once the times up, Julien instructs, “remove the rollers and brush through the hair. And for the final finishing touch, use the Julien Farel Vitamin Smooth.” Just warm a pea-sized amount in your palms and gently caress the cream through to minimise flyaways, frizz and give an added moisture boost.

And now you’re Wimbledon ready like the courtside queen herself!
