Samuel McManus is a senior content creator for Bauer Media, writing celebrity news and features across five of the company’s brands – heat, Closer, Grazia, Bella and Yours. Samuel has worked at Bauer Media since November 2024.
He has a BA in Music Management from the London College of Music and, after graduating, worked in music PR for the likes of Britney Spears and John Legend before transferring his skills into his journalism career.
Samuel has worked in showbiz journalism for seven years, starting his career at OK! magazine before moving onto Metro and enjoying a stint as a freelance reporter and enjoys covering everything from the royals to Love Island and his beloved EastEnders.
His love for pop culture stems from his obsession with the Spice Girls, which has proven to be life-long. In fact, Samuel’s first word was ‘Mel B’, something which Scary Spice herself took great joy in when his mum scolded her for being the first name he said instead of hers when they met in 2018.
