Germany welcomed baby Jasleen on the 26 July at University hospital, and she is their largest natural-birth baby on record.
According to reports, Jasleen’s size is linked to Jasleen's mother suffering from an undiagnosed case of gestational diabetes, causing her larger-normal size.
Head of obstetrics Holger Stepan revealed that he prepped the delivery team for possible complications, but the birth went smoothly and no c-section was needed.
Mother and baby are said to be well, but Jasleen will remain in hospital to have her insulin levels monitored.
However Jasleen does not beat the title of heaviest baby this year, which Britain currently holds.
George King was born to a British couple in March, and weighed a startling 15lbs 7oz!
We think the title should go to the mums for ‘World’s bravest mothers’!
