Woman discovers husband has five wives, five girlfriends and seven fiancées on Facebook

Sonko Tijan- who lives in Austria- was caught out by his pregnant wife after she searched for members of his family on Facebook.

After typing in their last name, she found pictures of Tijan- originally from Gambia- with other women.

The ladies in question also shared Tijan’s surname, prompting his Austrian wife to become suspicious.

With the help of detectives, the scorned woman discovered that her husband had five other wives, seven fiancées, and five more girlfriends.

Tijan’s shocked wife told an Austrian newspaper: “I thought that either he had a twin I never knew about or he was cheating on me.”

More shockingly, it has also emerged that Tijan- who has at least six children with different women- was using his conquests for lodging and money, feeding wives/fiancées/ girlfriends a false story that he had escaped violence in his homeland and was searching for a new life.

According to reports, if any of his partners questioned him about his past he would simply disappear.

Detective Patrick Maierhofer said: “He always used the same tactics.

“He would look at women in bars and was always charming and attentive.

“He would also fascinate them with fanciful stories about his homeland in Africa and how he had fled horrific wars leaving his family behind – and later he would ask for financial assistance for them.”

After gathering evidence via social media and interviews with Tijan’s victims, police arrested him for bigamy.
