Sadly, the woman died before rescue workers were able to reach her, prompting an investigation into how the tragic incident came about.
Police are now probing doctors who pronounced her dead, but those treating her insist she had been unresponsive for hours and they were unable to successfully revive her.
Dr Chrissi Matsikoudi told a Greek news channel: "I just don’t believe it. We did several tests including one for heart failure on the body.
"It would have been impossible for someone in a state of rigor mortis to have been shouting and hitting the coffin like that.”
The woman’s relatives are reportedly set to file a lawsuit against the doctors who treated her cancer.
