Mr. Ootsuki and his sixteen-year-old dog, Pao, have been best friends for a long time. A very long time.

The pair have stuck by each other through thick and thin, showering each other with love and affection and making life enjoyable. Both of them are in their golden years now and their relationship is still going strong - but Pao is having a hard time getting around.

Like many dogs of his size, his hips have grown weaker and he finds it extremely difficult to walk unaided. But, while this would signal the end of daily walks, games of fetch and evening cuddles, Mr. Ootsuki has taken a very different approach.

Watch this moving video:

We love how this dog owner has repaid his doggy's many years of love and loyalty by looking after him in his older years.

And we bet Pao is very grateful to his best friend for making sure that, even though his legs are weakened, he can still enjoy their daily walks in the sunshine together.
