Despite the video clearly showing Carmen Perez-Dickson pulling the children by their limbs down the corridoor, she has been allowed to return to work following a brief suspension.

The principal from Bridgeport, Connecticut, treats the children like rag dolls as she tries to get them to their feet and grabs them by the scruff of the neck.

According to the site that published the footage - the mother's of the two children involved made the video's public.

Strangely, the local school board only chose to suspend Ms Perez-Dickson for six months, and she will be allowed back in her role next month.

However parents in the town are campaigning to have the Principal sacked; shocked at her physical treatment of their children.

'Children go to school to learn and to be respected and we are an example. And if we start to bully, then we can't expect much from these children. They will learn to bully others,' a member of the school board said.
