Kerry Harvey passed away on Saturday, February 22, after 10 months suffering with the disease.
She made headlines last month when she was the star of Pancreatic Cancer Action's poster, which also featured the quote: 'I wish I had breast cancer.'
The poster sparked outrage amongst other cancer campaigners, who said it disrespected other cancer sufferers.
Kerry was subjected to a hate campaign on Twitter, with one even saying they wished she was dead.
Brave Kerry, who was diagnosed with the disease in April 2013 despite several trips to A&E over 5 months, stood by her comment, stating that pancreatic cancer has one of the lowest survival rates - whereas you are more likely to beat other forms like Breast cancer.
‘I know I upset a lot of people by saying what I did, but it’s true. If I had breast cancer rather than pancreatic cancer, it is almost certain I wouldn’t now be dying. Instead I’ve been told I’ve only got four to five months to live,' said Kerry.
Her fiancé, Matthew Biggin, who proposed on January 1st, paid tribute to her on twitter, saying: 'RIP @KerryLou2013 sleep well in heaven my angel. I will never ever forget you. I love you with all my heart princess.'
PCA, for which Kerry did a great deal of work for in her final 10 months of life, also posted a tribute on their home page, describing her as: 'a brave and courageous young woman who touched so many hearts with her determination.'
