Brazilian albino ‘Bino’ was born with kyphosis, causing him to lose feeling in his legs and restricting his movement.

The little fellow was born in captivity and has been in the San Paolo aquarium since 2007, but has not been able to make use of his private pool due to the condition.

Happily, the acupuncture has been a great success, and proud vet Daniella Cervatti revealed:

‘His response (to the acupuncture) was wonderful.

‘He was without sensitivity in two or three sections. He has already regained sensitivity in his feet and he started to move more.

‘He wasn't entering the water, but he has started to…The response we have seen in him has been very gratifying.’

And Bino had brother Albi to keep him company throughout the treatment. The two can now finally enjoy some brotherly bonding time in their pool.
