Adam Webster, 38, and Sarah Harcourt, 35 – who have over 100 convictions between them – have now been jailed.
Webster was handed six years and Harcourt was given for four years respectively.
The couple kidnapped helpless Stephen Dooley – who was left disabled after contracting meningitis as a baby – as he was working on his book -stall at a council activity centre in Norwich, last August.
Webster and Harcourt can be seen pushing Stephen away from his stall and into a nearby park where they took his money before abandoning him.
They were arrested under an hour after the incident and were convicted using the CCTV footage which has now been released.
Their cruel act has left Stephen terrified and in his victim impact statement in court, the 38 year old, explained how he’s now too scared to leave his own home.
“It was nice to be able to go to the centre without my family, but now I am too scared to go. Working on the book stall was the one thing I did by myself.
“I enjoyed doing this and I miss it lots.”
