London commuters were left shocked after a man appeared to take lines of cocaine off his hand on a busy tube carriage.

According to The Sun, the man was on a southbound Northern Line train.

The video was reportedly filmed between Elephant Castle and Kennington.

The man allegedly told his fellow passengers: “I just like taking it.”

As he appeared to snort the drugs he then added: “I’m f****** annihilated.”

The man in the footage was identified as Tom Osborne (pictured- Facebook)

He then asks the person filming: “You're not a cop, are you?”

A doctor specialising in cocaine addiction at Priory Hospital in London told the Mail Online that the footage proves as an example of how drugs can warp a user’s sense of decency and perspective.

They explained: “These shocking images only underline the disinhibiting effects of drugs like these – the stigma of which is unfortunately becoming less and less as cocaine use becomes more acceptable in society.

“If these shocking images do anything, hopefully they will make people think twice about the stark realities of drug use and what it is doing to people's lives, and those around them.”

The man in the video has since been named as 23-year-old Tom Osborne, a sales executive from East Sussex.

British Transport Police have now launched a probe into the incident, which may lead to criminal charges.
