Nothing wrong with that you may think – just because you’re a political figure doesn’t mean you can’t cosy up to fellow big-wigs to mark special get-togethers

Well, unless you’re sat – with the world’s media trained upon you – at Nelson Mandela’s memorial service, that is.

Yes – we’re looking at you David Cameron and Barack Obama, who decided the sombre occasion was the perfect time to grab a picture with the Danish Prime Minister, Helle Thorning-Schmidt.

Momentarily, the trio appeared to forget they were meant to be feeling reflective and solemn, at the service for the former South African President, by putting on their cheesiest grins for the snap.

Michelle, on the other hand, looks less than impressed.

We’re unsure whether this was because of their apparent forgetfulness or because she wasn’t invited to be in the picture.

Either way – there are a lot of people out there who are less than impressed with them. Is this a selfie too far?
