Sunnie Kahle, who goes to Timberlake Christian School threatened not to allow the girl back at the school in September - simply because she isn't very feminine.

In a letter to the family, Timberlake School wrote:

'You're probably aware that Timberlake Christian School is a religious, Bible believing institution providing education in a distinctly Christian environment.

'We believe that unless Sunnie as well as her family clearly understand that God has made her female and her dress and behavior need to follow suit with her God-ordained identity, that TCS is not the best place for her future education.'

The letter was sent to Sunnie's guardians

The letter goes onto say that they can refuse Sunnie re-entry for 'condoning sexual immorality, practising a homosexual lifestyle or alternative gender identity.'

It continues to reference several Bible verses that confirm this point.

But Sunnie prefers to wear jeans, baggy T-shirts, and trainers, rather than dresses.

Luckily for Sunnie, her Grandparents (who sound pretty amazing if you ask us), have said they don't care how she dresses, and have removed her from the school.

'How do you tell her, no you can't, you've got to wear a pink bow in your hair,'

'How do you tell a child when she wants to wear pants and shirt, and go out and play in the mud and so forth, how do you tell her, no you can't, you've got to wear a pink bow in your hair, and you've got to let you hair grow out long' asked Doris, Sunnie's Grandmother.

'How do you do that? I can't do that.'

She also added that Sunnie is having trouble adjusting to the new school they have put her in, and that she cries every morning and night because she misses her friends at Timberlake Christian School.
