The Royal Baby watch rumour mill has gone into overdrive, after police were spotted canvassing the area outside St Mary's Hospital with sniffer dogs, as well as entering the side door of the Lindo Wing.

Additionally a photographer known to be close to Kate's PA Natasha Archer was spotted entering the hospital.

However others dismissed the this morning's events as a 'dry run' for Kate's imminent birth.

The mother-of-one has apparently been spending the last days of her pregnancy enjoying walks around the Kensington Palace gardens with mum Carole, little George and their dog Lupo.

Fans waiting outside the hospital

According to reports the 33-year-old was due on Saturday 25th April, however bookies are now favouring April 29th as the new Royal baby’s birthdate.

And with Kate and William's first-born, Prince George, reportedly born three days late in July 2013, it seems likely this little Royal is going to make us all wait!
