Which is why this thread caught our attention.

The begins with a simple email exchange between two friends; they haven't seen each other for a while and are catching up on their lives.

But things take a turn for Creepsville when 'Shaun' sends a frightened message to 'Ross', revealing that an old woman had startled him and his girlfriend Amy during a nighttime drive.

Shaun becomes more threatening and erratic in his emails, insisting he wants to "dig up" the corpse of Ross' mother - which, understandably, leaves his friend upset.

But, when quizzed about what he'd said, Shaun had absolutely no recollection whatsoever - and insisted someone must have been playing a joke on him.

The final few messages reveal that Shaun has gone AWOL; his girlfriend has been unable to access him and he has not been in contact with Ross for weeks.
