A police investigation has been launched into the death of Peaches Geldof after a coroner's inquest revealed that heroin was the 'most likely' cause of death.
Detectives have said they want to know who supplied the 25-year-old mum-of-two with the fatal class A drug.
And, according to reports, it is understood that her husband Thomas Cohen, 23, 'may be questioned' over the supply.
The brief hearing was told how Cohen screamed as he returned home to find his wife slumped across her bed, with one leg dangling off the side.
"Thomas entered the property and went upstairs thinking that Peaches may have been sleeping.
"Thomas then located Peaches in a spare bedroom and it was obvious to him that she was deceased. She was located on the edge of a bed with one leg hanging down to the floor with the other leg tucked underneath her; she was slumped forward across the bed."
Unable to revive his wife, he rushed to find their son Phaedra - who had been in Peaches' care - and raised the alarm.
Police and paramedics arrived and confirmed she had died.
A police spokesman has said: "Kent Police can confirm an ongoing investigation into the supply of drugs in connection with the death of Peaches Geldof."
As well as trying to discover who supplied the young mum with the dangerous drug, police also have some serious questions as to why there was no drug-taking paraphernalia in her home by the time they arrived at the scene.
It has also been revealed that, in the days before she died, Peaches Geldof had begun blogging about musician Elliott Smith, who committed suicide in 2003 after struggling with drug addiction.
In one online post, Peaches wrote: "He speaks as someone who understands depression and drug abuse, someone who lives with it every day, sarcastically praising his sober and mostly happy friends for their failed mission to save him from something they could never understand."
