The 28-year-old runner, who has become unlikely friends with Radovan Krejcir while in the Pretoria jail, had his hard drive seized by police for analysis.
This news comes just a week after the Olympian was dramatically denied parole, after the Justice Minister ruled that the decision had been made prematurely.
‘There is no evidence at this stage to link Pistorius to any criminality but we are still awaiting analysts’ reports about the contents of the items confiscated,’ prison bosses have said.
Pistorius and Krejcir struck up a friendship after being placed in the hospital wing of the Kgosi Mapuru II jail in Pretoria together - before the Czech gangster was moved in April.
It was with him that Pistorius was filmed playing football earlier in 2015, in the yard of the prison.
Krejcir, who has been convicted of attempted murder and drugs charges, admitted that he ‘misses’ Pistorius since being moved away from him - and joked to reporters that they should ‘play for Chelsea when we’re released.’
