This afternoon a tiny newborn baby was found abandoned inside a plastic bag in Dublin.

The news shocked locals in the Windmill Hill area of Rathcoole when the news came to light.

It’s believed policemen discovered the newborn child and gave medical assistance as they waited for an ambulance to arrive. “This baby has just been found in the past 15 minutes,” an insider told the Mirror.

“It is still alive at the moment but is in a very serious condition. Gardai are there and are trying their best to give life saving treatment.”

Although little is known about how the baby came to be abandoned, it’s understood police will soon start to try and trace the mother of the child.
