A new hangover treatment claims to prevent boozy sore heads before they have a chance to take hold.

The Bytox Hangover Protection Patch claims to ‘stop hangovers before they start’.

It works by replenishing valuable vitamins and acids lost during a boozing session.

The treatment was developed by US surgeon Leonard Grossman, but has not received medical backing in either the States or the UK.

Bytox claim your hangovers will be a thing of the past

This hasn’t stopped drinkers reviewing the product and singing its praises online.

In one review on the product’s website, a user wrote: "I tried it twice. Both times after nine or 10 Martinis. I can only account for myself. It works great."

Website Firebox is now selling the patch on its website.

They warn: "It won't however prevent you getting drunk and definitely won't prevent embarrassing and/or regrettable behaviour."

So essentially, the patch will help you combat those awful hangover symptoms, but you still need to keep track of how many units you’re consuming.
