Deronsula Brue was walking to her sister's house when a hit-and-run driver mowed her down.

“I wouldn’t do that to my worst enemy. How dare you?"

The driver reportedly carried on going for several hundred feet with the mother-of-six trapped on the hood of his car before stepping hard on the breaks.

The noise alerted Deronsula's neighbour, who quickly alerted police and ambulances.

When she woke up, Deronsula revealed to KHOU.com that she hurt all over, due to her broken shoulder, fractured wrist and internal bleeding.

She has an emotional message for her hit-and-run driver, saying: “You hit me and left me there to die.

“Had the witness not seen me, I probably would’ve died because I was knocked up completely.

“I wouldn’t do that to my worst enemy. How dare you?"

She added tearfully: "I know you know I was on your hood. You didn’t have no kind of sympathy. If you did, you wouldn’t have drove off and left me there to die.”

Police in Houston, Texas are still searching for the driver of the White Chevy.
