Who is this little girl? It’s the question we’re all asking after an appeal to find out who is she, and where she comes from, appeared online.
Tragically, a dog walker found the little girl’s lifeless body was found inside a plastic bag that washed up on the Boston shoreline. The little girl was inside the bag next to a soft, downy blanket.
The CGI image you see of the girl, who’s thought to be around four-years-old, was created by a team working for the police officers who are desperately searching for her family.
As investigators have said the girl shows no signs of trauma, it is still not known how she died.
Police hope that someone will recognise the child and help them find answers.
“She is a beautiful young child who deserves dignity,” Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel Conley said.
People working at a nearby business have offered to raise money to pay for a funeral for the little girl and are planning to plant a tree and build a bench in her memory.
