Shrien was found not guilty

Anni Dewani, 28, was gunned down in Cape Town South Africa in 2010, just weeks after marrying her 34-year-old husband.

And despite claims from her husband that she was killed in a car-jacking, it was claimed by three South African men involved in the killing that Shrien had paid them to get rid of his wife.

Prosecutors argued that bisexual Dewani had wanted a way out of the relationship with his wife, but felt pressure from his traditional family to stay with her.

But today the case was dismissed by the South African court, after the judge deemed that there was not enough evidence to convict him.

He is now free to return to the UK.
