Ahh, the love-hate relationship we have with our iPhones.

Yes, they’re super slick, are basically our PA, newspaper, cameraman and DJ that we simply can’t get through a day without, but we all know they’re not without their faults.

Smashed screen solidarity!

But there’s been a new glitch in the apple design uncovered, and it’s a mighty BIG one! If you’ve been sending saucy snaps to your partner, you’re going to want to keep reading…

That’s right, it’s come to light that literally ANYONE can access your secret piccies, and password protection means nothing!

The major error was put out there into cyber space by videosdebarraquito, in a video showing exactly how to access the gallery on someone else’s iPhone. And it only takes a matter of seconds….

Check it out:

Scary stuff, right?

If you missed it, the user asked Siri to search Twitter, and even though the screen is locked, the ever-obedient Siri follows the command.

The user then searched for an email address, pressed the tweet button and held down the email address until the box popped up.

To get to the pictures, they clicked ‘add new contact’ and they get to your existing phonebook, and select ‘add to existing contact.’

Sounds complicated, looks easy. Either way scary.

But fear not, because there IS a way around it…

Head to your settings and ensure that silly Siri does NOT respond when you mobile is locked. It will be in your Touch ID & Passcode folder.

And now we ask of you never to use this knowledge to snoop around anyone else’s snaps, OK?
