Horror as British couple murdered in Caribbean home

The bodies of Richard Wheeler and his wife Grace were discovered just before midday on Tuesday, with the small island community reportedly left shocked by the news.

Police have confirmed that both 73-year-old Richard, and Grace, 67, had been stabbed.

They are now exploring the possibility that this was a robbery ‘gone wrong’ as the bedroom and living room areas were both ‘ransacked,’ said a spokesman.

All possible avenues are being looked at following the shocking crime, police have said, while confirming the deaths.

Mr Wheeler, who was originally from Sheffield, had lived on the island with his Tobago born wife for 16 years.
