Mango is known for providing trendy, affordable fashion but is not known for catering to curvier women.

The range is to be aimed at the ‘modern and demanding woman who wants to feel attractive, sexy and fashionable.’

The campaign for the new plus-size range is to be faced by curvy model Robyn Lawley.

The 6ft Australian beauty recently wrote in an article about body image: ‘I'm tall and I have big hips and shoulders. Even if I diet I can't shrink my bones. I had tried to be that skinny I would have ended up in hospital...I am the perfect shape for plus-size modelling. I don't feel any pressure to lose weight as I've been this size for years now and I don't want to change or diet. I enjoy exercising and being able to eat foods I like.’

Robyn joins the ranks of supermodels Miranda Kerr and Kate Moss who have also modeled for the popular Spanish high street brand.

The new range will be available in European stores from January 17th.
