Yvonne Ervin made the six-minute phone call to 911 when her sons allegedly tried to kill her and her husband, Zachary.
In the phone call, which police made public via CNN.com yesterday, Yvonne sounds groggy and terrified as she says: "Please send someone to my house. My children are trying to kill me."
When asked what she means, Yvonne explains that 17-year-old Cameron and 22-year-old Christopher drugged her and their father's food with the antidepressant Xanax before launching their attack.
"They're trying to strangle us and shoot us and they put Xanax in our food and they thought we would sleep,” she says.
“They tried to attack us. They beat me up. They beat him up. They're trying to kill us.
“Please, please, please hurry.”
But, despite being able to sneak away from her murderous sons for long enough to place the phone call, Yvonne was quickly discovered.
"I just heard them say, 'Where did Mom go?'" she can be heard telling the dispatcher. "They're headed upstairs now."
The call then ends with the sound of a struggle, Yvonne saying the police were coming, and a chilling silence.

Police arrived at the house a little while later, where they found Zachary collapsed outside the garage, with multiple injuries and stab wounds.
Yvonne was found lying next to her bed with serious injuries.
Both sons were immediately arrested, with Cameron reportedly telling an officer, "Just kill me now. I tried to kill my f**king parents.
“Who does that?"
According to CNN.com, the brothers hadn’t just attacked their parents; they had also plotted to burn down the house, and had even introduced natural gas to the home.
The motive for the attack remains unknown, although Yvonne reportedly told the dispatcher that it may have been to do with insurance money.
Both of her sons have been charged with two counts of felony aggravated assault and two felony counts of first degree arson.
Yvonne has since been discharged from hospital, but Zachary is still in hospital.
