Fox Hunting vote DROPPED due to overwhelming opposition

The vote to amend the Hunting Act has been dropped for tomorrow, after a public and political outcry.

Ministers are considering postponing the vote after the Scottish National Party decided they would vote against relaxing the ban, despite the fact it will not affect Scotland who have a different law in place.

It is thought that MPs will now delay the vote until only English MPs can vote on English laws, meaning the SNP will no longer be allowed to have a say in the issue.

Protesters have gathered outside the Houses of Parliament today to lobby politicians, and will now be celebrating a victory in getting the vote postponed.

But despite this, there is still work to be done, as MPs will still want to vote on this issue in the coming year.
