La Belle, 7, gave birth to the 175lb female calf on Friday, and mother and daughter are being closely monitored by the calf’s pregnant grandmother La Petite.

Staff are said to be concerned that the adorable baby is nursing from her 27-year-old grandmother rather than her own first-time mother, but hope that once La Petite gives birth she will be less overbearing.

Frankly, we don’t blame her!
