A teenager named Jared Michael recently attempted to take a selfie in front of an oncoming train.
Despite being a "safe distance" from the train, Michael was left stunned when the train driver stuck his foot out and kicked the teen in the head as the train whizzed past.
The teenager posted the video on YouTube, captioning it: "I tried to take a selfie while a train passed a "safe" distance behind.
"I guess I was still too close and got kicked in the head. I messed up."
It's just so quick, isn't it?
Despite the shocking nature of the footage, comments on YouTube have proved less than sympathetic, with one telling the teen that he "f**king deserved it" and another dubbing the video the "Karma Train".
User FutureLaugh added: "dood you are lucky to be alive, you should be dead right now. go and do the things you never had a chance to do"
However one stuck up for the teen, insisting: "I think you still have a case for assault… the boot should be on the right hand side pushing you away from the train not forward or in front of or in a way that would leave you at risk of going under the train itself if you had fallen.
"He did not push you away from the danger but in fact increased the danger... Don't do it again."
