For the past few weeks, all eyes have been on Kate Middleton as her due-date rapidly approached. On Saturday, the country welcomed a new princess as Kate gave birth to Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge who was born overdue at 8.34am, weighing 8lbs 3oz- as seen on her birth certificate. When Prince William and Kate presented their new daughter to the world, Kate emerged flawlessly in a custom Jenny Packham dress from the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital in London where they proudly posed for the press with their baby. The family then spent their first few nights at Kensington Palace where the Queen met the new princess before they returned to their estate in Norfolk later in the week.3 of 19

On Friday, the results of the General Election were announced and Katie Hopkins took to Twitter to gloat over the Conservative win. Earlier in the week, she threatened to up sticks and leave the UK shores for good if Labour came into power however, once the Tory victory was announced, she tweeted: "I will be staying in the UK and intend to become @David_Cameron new Fat Tsar. He is not aware of this yet #GE2015"- revealing her pledge to get fat people banned from the UK.4 of 19

It's just an insecurity of mine and it's what I wanted to do".Earlier in the week, rumours also surfaced about whether or not Kendall Jenner had undergone a 'secret boob job' after she was snapped with an apparently larger bust at the Met Gala. Kendall's green dress showed off a lot of side-boob than when she was papped at Coachella festival in a tiny bikini top.5 of 19

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez all wore very similar jewelled gowns (awkward…!) that were rather revealing, with embellishments in all of the right places...Rihanna's huge yellow gown had a train that was so enormous that we couldn't even fit it in this picture, and the internet reacted in a brilliant way by transforming it into pizza and omelette memes!6 of 19

There was even (almost!) a Spice Girls reunion when Victoria was joined by Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Mel C, however Eva Longoria had to take Mel B's place for the 'reunion photo'.
