These gorgeously unique baby girl and boy names ALL hail from continental Europe - which is your favourite?

We imagine that, following Brexit, plenty of people are going to be choosing some seriously bold British names for their baby boys and girls this year.

Think Bruce, Harry, Alice, Nigel, John and Jemima, for starters!

But, if you want to try something a DASH more unique, we recommend looking towards Europe. Yes, as in the very same European Union we voted ‘LEAVE’ on (even if there isn't a single person on the planet who knows if and when that will happen...).

After all, the younger generation have now lost the right to live and work in 27 other countries across the continent, and we will never know the full extent of the friendships, marriages, and life experiences that they have been denied.

Plus, with far less freedom of movement, it’s almost guaranteed that some of the prettier and more unusual European names will slip out of the British baby name polls over time.

To try and stop that from happening, we’ve rounded up twenty of our absolute favourites from the EU.

Which do you love the most?
