As every parent will already know, children will often do all they can to stay up late and avoid their bedtime.
But, while it may be easier to let them stay up to watch the end of that movie, or give them that much-requested “five more minutes”, we could be doing our little ones a great disservice by letting them stay up.
When your child doesn't have enough hours to rest, they may feel tired or cranky, or unable to think clearly. They might have a hard time following directions, or they might be cranky and irritable.
If they’re tired, they may feel clumsy, or find tasks more difficult than usual - and a lack of sleep can affect both their mental and physical health.
So what time should your little one be going to bed?
Well, the team at www.Web-Blinds.com, the sister site of Hillarys Blinds, have designed a new interactive calculator aimed at helping parents determine their child’s ideal bedtime.
Check it out:
Do you agree with the results? And has your child been going to bed on time?
