Who could forget the original series, which saw the likes of Calum Best, Bianca Gascoigne and Abi Titmuss forced to spend time together on an Island in Fiji?
It was TV gold and we were utterly devastated when it was cancelled… we can still remember the theme tune!
This time around the show will feature normal people instead of celebrities but it’s still the next TV news of the week, right?
Patrick Kielty and Kelly Brook hosted the first series, with Ferne Cotton replacing Kelly for the second, but Caroline Flack will front the new series.
It’s going to be a busy year for the Flack, with her also co-presenting The X Factor with Olly Murs, but, understandably, she’s excited.
She said: “I can’t wait to host the revamped Love Island.
“I was a massive fan of the original show, and I’m sure this is going to be one crazy, love-fuelled island.”
No official date has been given yet, but the trailer teases that Love Island is ‘coming in June’ so we don’t have long to wait!
