Cast your mind back to 2018 when Dean Ralph joined the cast of the ITVBe show alongside his Ex on the Beach co-star Jordan Wright. They quickly set their sights on the ladies of Essex, with Dean going on to date Chloe Sims while Jordan made a play for Courtney Green (who was with Myles Barnett at the time, awks).
However, Dean’s time on the show was quickly cut short when he was suspended just months after joining, following what was described as a “serious” incident when the cast were filming in Newcastle.
A source said: "Dean was sent away from TOWIE in disgrace.
"What he did is a closely guarded secret but it was serious enough for bosses to take immediate action.
"Dean was told he was suspended from filming and left Newcastle to go back to Essex."
He departed the show, never to return. But what's he been up to since then?
Where is TOWIE’s Dean Ralph now?
Dean has taken a step back from the spotlight since leaving TOWIE and now works as an electrician. He previously worked as a fitness model and still regularly whips his kit off on the ‘gram to show off his toned physique for his 44.8k followers.
In his personal life, Dean is loved-up with his longterm partner, eyelash technician Lauren Hadlow, and they live together in Kent with their son Presley who was born in July 2021. Dean’s also a keen fisher and has a separate Instagram page dedicated to his hobby.
Why was Dean Ralph suspended from TOWIE?
Dean was sent home from filming in Newcastle in October 2018 after a “serious” incident, although the exact reason has never come to light.
An ITV spokesperson confirmed that Dean had been suspended and although they claimed it was only “for the remainder of the series”, he was never seen on the show again. Dean wasn’t the only cast member suspended during the trip to Newcastle as Jon Clark was also sent home for allegedly slapping James ‘Diags’ Bennewith during a nightclub row over a girl.
Who has Dean Ralph dated?
Dean dated Love Island 2017 star Chloe Crowhurst shortly before joining TOWIE. “We just met on a night out and instantly connected. He is beautiful and his personality is just amazing. He's so down to earth, I couldn't have asked for anyone better,” she told The Sun.
During his stint on TOWIE, Dean briefly dated Chloe Sims before she reportedly dumped him after he was seen cosying up to Clelia Theodorouon a night out. He also was linked to Amber Turner before she got back together with on / off squeeze Dan Edgar.
However, he now seems happier than ever with girlfriend Lauren Hadlow.
