ICYMI, an exciting new series of Celebs Go Dating has been brewing behind the scenes over the last few months, and we're finally going to get the first episodes in August.
As always, it's the celebrity cast that makes a series like this, and we have to give it to Channel 4 casting – this group is a slay.
Joining the Celebrity Dating Agency for 2025, we have Kerry Katona (Atomic Kitten/showbiz queen), Jon Lee (from S Club 7), Olivia Hawkins (winter Love Island 2023 and Love Island: All Stars 2025), Louis Russell (Too Hot To Handle), Donna Preston (Celebrity Big Brother 2025), Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett (The Chase), and Sam Prince (Made in Chelsea).
Christine McGuinness was also part of the line-up for a hot sec, but dropped out after realising it was 'too soon' to date publicly. Her slot was swiftly filled by Donna following her CBB success.
Sam was also a last minute addition, and for the benefit of those who don't watch Made in Chelsea, let's just say we predict the agents are going to have a fair bit of work on their hands to get this one to settle down and behave. He is well know for being somewhat of a menace on the Channel 4 reality show – albeit a supremely entertaining one.
But, to be fair, the agents have worked miracles before, so who knows? Maybe Sam's Celebs Go Dating journey will surprise us.
Speaking of surprises, Sam spilled a little tea on his top secret time on the show (which has now wrapped) on his MIC pal Liv Bentley's podcast, Private Parts, revealing the identity of the co-star he found 'adorable', despite having a LOT of preconceptions about her.
Sam told Liv, ‘So, we’ve got Kerry Katona.
'Can I tell you something? If I said I thought I’d be close with Kerry Katona, I‘d be like, "no", I couldn’t see us collaborating, [even] being friends, but Kerry Katona is my favourite person on the show.
'The energy; she walks into the room, and you know Kerry Katona is in the room. Happiest lady, so sweet, messages me every day [asking], “how are you?”
'She’s just adorable.'
And Sam isn't the only celeb to strike up a bond with our Kerry. Olivia and Kerry have spent the last few weeks telling each other how much they adore one another on socials.
To be fair, FAIR. If went on Celebs Go Dating looking for love, and instead, left the show besties with Kerry, we'd be more than satisfied.
