Half the cast of TOWIE is currently made up of reality TV guys and girls who, once upon a time, were part of other TV shows.
The likes of Elma Pazar and Sammy Root first appeared on Love Island, with Freddie Bentley taking part in The Circle back in 2018. Another The Only Way is Essex girlie that rose to fame on a different reality TV show is living legend Sophie Kasaei who was a key cast member during the golden era of Geordie Shore.

Sophie joined the guys and gals of Brentwood in 2023 after she started up a romance with singing barber Jordan Brook and has been on the show ever since.
As much as we love seeing the Newcastle native being fake tanned by Amy Childs and double dating with Roman Hackett and Matilda Draper, it's wild to think it's the same person from her Geordie Shore days.

From living off kebabs, laughing hysterically with her bestie Charlotte Crosby and tashing on with Joel Corry, during her Geordie Shore stint, Sophie made for unforgettable telly.
We have always wondered what it's like for her fellow Geordie Shore cast to see their pal living her best life on-screen in Essex and during an exclusive chat with Sophie's BFF Charlotte, we asked her just that.
'We were never really rivals,' Charlotte revealed when we asked her to dish the deets on Sophie moving from the north to the south for TOWIE (and Jordan, ofc.)

'It’s really nice,' she went on, 'I’m so happy for Sophie, I love watching her on The Only Way Is Essex.'
Geordie Shore, TOWIE and Made in Chelsea all started around the same time, but there is no denying Geordie Shore was the 'most' real of the reality TV shows – we really saw it all.
'It’s so weird to see her on TOWIE, but it’s fun,' she went on, 'it’s exciting.'
