Come on, admit it. No matter how much TOWIE pulls us die-hard fans back series after series, there is nothing that reality TV fanatics love more than a surprise comeback among the chopping and changing of cast members. While we couldn't possibly name-drop our favourite Brentwood High Street gallivanters from the years gone by, Georgia Kousoulou would certainly be up there.

And when we caught up with Georgia, who, can you believe, made her TOWIE debut 10 years ago (!), she has some good and bad news about whether we'll see her back on the show.

She admitted to Closer that her TOWIE days are "finished" after leaving in 2021, but added, "Listen, I don't mind popping in if I had to, as in if one of my friends needed me. I'm a massive fan of the show - I love watching it.

"I still talk to some of the cast and it's great to hear the gossip. I love that sh*t. But I'm at a different part of my life."

Georgia hasn't turned her back entirely on reality TV, as she lets cameras into the home she shares with husband and former TOWIE co-star Tommy Mallet, and their two-year-old son Brody, in their show Baby Steps.

She's also celebrating another career milestone this week - the release of her book I Wish I Knew, which she describes as "the story of my life".

She says, "It’s literally a chat with your best mate. I have basically said what everyone else is thinking. I hope people love it."

Within it, she touches upon her struggles with body image and extreme dieting during her rise to fame.

She's now said, "My TOWIE days, I could cuddle her. Listen, when you're younger, you're naturally skinnier anyway. My whole shape was different. I've naturally got skinny legs and I always had a flat stomach, but then I became obsessed.

"When I realised the more press you get, the more work you get, it become a vicious circle. I was 22 - I wanted to have the best bikini body on TOWIE. When I started getting articles and the press, I was like, 'I need to keep it up now.'"

She added, "I would always find myself finishing series of TOWIE so deflated and then I'd eat what I wanted. It'd be a bit [of a] yoyo diet, because it'd be up and down.

" I look at pictures now and I'm like, 'Who's that girl?' I do miss that body sometimes, but I don't miss the pressure.'"

I Wish I Knew by Georgia Kousoulou out 29th Feb RRP £18.99 (Seven Dials).
