After getting back together with Ella Rae Wise, Dan Edgar has revealed that he loved having her support during his skating journey. The TOWIE couple split last May after reports he had cheated on her with his ex-girlfriend Hannah Rally, but decided to give their relationship another go in December.
Rumours were abound that they had rekindled their romance after Ella, 24, was spotted in the Dancing On Ice audience as the 34-year-old reality star made his debut, before the pair confirmed that their relationship is definitely back on after going Insta-official on Valentine’s Day.

Dan – who narrowly scraped through to the semi-finals after being in the bottom two with Traitors star Mollie Pearce – tells Closer, ‘I’ve been speaking to her pretty much every day. She’s been very supportive of me and everything’s still going well in terms of that. We’re very much together.
‘I said at Christmas we were going to give things a go. Last year, whenever we said we’d give things a go, it would always break down. We weren’t letting on how we were really feeling. But this time we were strong over Christmas, we got on so well. We spent a lot of time together and we’re together. We keep gravitating back towards each other.’
He adds, ‘It’s still early days but I get on very well with her and I think very highly of her and hopefully it carries on.’

Dan and his pro partner Vanessa James impressed the judges with their routines to George Michael’s hit Faith, Oklahoma! the musical and Ed Sheeran’s Bad Habits. They were also the first pair to do the risky headbanger move this series.
‘It’s the most nerve-wracking part for me, doing lifts like that. What better way is there to push you than doing a head banger in week five?’ he says. ‘It’s something that I always thought you build up to at the end, so I was a bit shocked when they told me they wanted me to do it!’

Dan also reveals that after months of skating, his body has gone through some visible changes.
‘It’s mad. I’m using muscles that I don’t think I’ve ever used before,’ he says. ‘I go to the gym quite a lot but I’m using my leg muscles a lot more, for sure. So I’ve seen a few changes, I’ve definitely toned up. People who haven’t seen me in a while say I’ve lost weight, I can definitely see it.’
