Ryan was slammed by his group during the second round of auditions for refusing to rehearse with them and for ‘being drunk’ – be he’s insisted he was told to abuse the free alcohol.

Speaking to The Sun, the 22-year-old said: “Simon Cowell has ruined my life. I got through the first stages because they liked my personality – and then I was told by the crew to get drunk so it would liven things up. I’ve been stitched up. It’s a complete nightmare.”

Ryan, who previously appeared on This Morning after spending £25,000 on tanning injections, also said his mum is being distant with him following the show.

After his terrible audition, Simon, 55, told Ryan: “Your attitude and what you did stank. You let yourself down, you made yourself look like a complete and utter idiot.

“I’m not interested, I’m not interested in your attitude, your terrible voice and the fact that you decided getting drunk was more important than working with this lot. You deserve everything that’s coming to you today.”

After Ryan had left the stage, Simon added: “What a horror of a human being.”

During his interview, Ryan questioned why the contestants are given access to so much free booze.

But an X Factor representative told the Daily Star: “"All contestants were made aware that it was optional for them to attend the welcome party that was thrown on the first night of Bootcamp, and many of the contestants opted to continue to rehearse or go to bed early.”
