Following the huge success of the seventh instalment of the action movie, Vin Diesel has confirm another movie is in the works.
During a Universal CinemaCon presentation, the actor said: “We’re going to make the best movie you’ve ever seen.”
Vin, 47, also confirmed the next film will be released on 14 April 2017. So, not long to wait then…
Fast and Furious 7 was released at the beginning of this month and has so far already taken over $1 billion at the Box Office globally.
While at the presentation, Vin also paid tribute to his former co-star Paul Walker, who was tragically killed in a car accident in 2013.
He said: “The last time I was on this stage I was with my brother Pablo.
“It’s hard for me to even watch that clip and then come on here without being emotional.”
The new film will be the first in the series to not feature Paul.
While Universal has yet to comment on the news of another film, it has been revealed where it will be set.
A new poster has surfaced showing Vin’s character Dominic Toretto against a backdrop of New York’s Empire State Building and branded with ‘FF8’.
