Tina McIntyre, played by 27-year-old Michelle Keegan, recently plunged to her death during a particularly dramatic episode of Coronation Street.

But it seems as if Tina is set to return to the cobbles in tonight's (June 23) episode, with some brand-new footage.

Tonight's hour-long episode will see Steph Britton (Tisha Merry) choose to miss flatmate Tina's funeral, choosing instead to stay at home with her own memories.

And, while sitting at home, grieving Steph will find a video on her phone go herself and Tina - footage which the viewers have never seen before.

Speaking to Radio Times in early June, Keegan commented that Coronation Street would feel the absence of the character she played for six years: "Tina was a great character and I’ll miss her. And I also think that Corrie is going to miss its feisty little barmaid."

Coronation Street airs tonight (June 23) at 8pm for one hour on ITV. At 9pm, viewers can go online to watch the exclusive scene.
