The former Ex on the Beach star spoke exclusively to Closer Online about his relationship with the other characters, revealing there's going to be an awkward situation between him and Alex Weaver.
He said: "I asked Alex out but it was a weird one because she has a boyfriend, and Jordan [Sargeant] kept saying she had a boyfriend, but then egging me on!
"So I took it as a challenge. I didn't know Jordan then and I was speaking to Alex, and she kept telling me she had a boyfriend. We agreed to stay friends in the end."
Having been on EOTB, Joss already has some experience with reality TV but he admitted Life On Marbs is totally different.
He continued: "That was 24-hour surveillance and it was very hectic, very little sleep, lots of alcohol, lots of drama and ex-girlfriends.
"Life On Marbs is nice, it is a lot more relaxed, you can think about it and go home and relax. It's mote realistic and just a better environment."
It was reported this month that Joss, who enjoyed a few dates with Geordie Shore's Vicky Pattison, said that he gave her the 'best two minutes of her life' and that she 'isn't girlfriend material'.
But Joss insists his comments were taken out of context. He said: "It was clearly banter. We are friends now and we have discussed the whole situation.
"She has a new boyfriend now and I hope she is happy. I was just in a jokey mood that day!"
Joss makes his entrance on Life On Marbs tonight at 9pm on ITVBe.
