Mercedes McQueen is, without a doubt, one of the feistiest women to ever set foot in Hollyoaks.
Which means that, naturally, it takes a lot to scare her.
However, in tonight’s episode of the hit Channel 4 soap opera, Mercedes is left terrified after a run in with Lindsey Roscoe (Sophie Austin).
Aka the Gloved Hand Killer. Eep.
Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) returns to the village and finds herself walking straight into her love rival.
It doesn’t take long for her to realise that Lindsey, who’s busy trying to cover up her crimes as well as pretend that Joe is the father of her unborn baby, rather than his brother, Freddie, is hiding something.
Mercedes wastes no time in asking Lindsey what’s going on, but she soon comes to regret her actions when a furious Lindsey unveils her dark side.
The shaken McQueen turns to Esther Bloom for advice - and, after piecing the facts together, they FINALLY realise that Lindsey is Dee Valley Hospital's sinister serial killer - not her sister Kim (Daisy Wood-Davis) as everybody first thought.
Things soon spiral out of control when Lindsey kidnaps Esther’s nan, Frankie and holds her hostage… but will the girls be able to defeat the Gloved Hand Killer?
Or will she have back up in the form of serial killer Silas Blissett (Jeff Rawle) - who, as we all know, has an extra special axe to grind with Mercedes?
Well, Sophie Austin recently revealed that her final scenes will be VERY intense - even more so as she’s been filming alongside Mercedes McQueen actress Jennifer Metcalfe and Silas Blissett actor Jeff Rawle.
Refusing to reveal TOO many juicy details, she said: “All I will say is I've been filming a lot with Jen Metcalfe and she has unfinished business with Silas.
"Whether it's the end of the road for Lindsay, you'll have to wait and see."
Hollyoaks airs these scenes tonight (March 31) at 7pm on E4 and tomorrow (April 1) at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
